As I have been sitting here all day doing research (for sat, talk about last minute!) I have a tip for you: there's supposed to be an amazing guy named Lee (elementos.atitlan@gmail.com) who will take you on a boat trip around the lake to all the small villages and many other things....you may want to check him out, gets great reviews on TA, and people say he's great w/kids.
